Ayra Tara

The Uncommon Guru Yoga
My ordinary body. On my crown, on a lotus, inseparable from the great Treasure of Compassion, Mother of the conquerors, Tara, is my kind root Guru. His body is reddish white, youthful, with the major and minor marks. Right hand in teaching mudra with a dorje and open petals of the lotuses against his ears. Wearing the three robes of a monk and a beautiful, yellow pandit's hat. He sits cross-legged in the vajra position amid an aura. At his heart, the transcendant deity Tara.

She is emerald-coloursed, her right hand in the mudra of granting highest siddhis, her left, holding a blue lotus, makes the mudra of showing the Three Jewels at her heart. She is beautifully adorned with silks and precious ornaments. With right leg stretched and left drawn in, she sits amidst an aura. At her heart, a green blazing TAM-letter radiates light rays.

My guru has the nature of these three concentration-beings. His five chakras are marked with OM AH HUM SVA and HA. He is the clear accomplished, psycic vision of the wisdom-knowledge of appearance and voidness.

Invocation
Light from his heart invokes all the objects of Refuge. They dissolve into him so that he becomes the combined nature of them all.

THE SEVEN LIMBS

Stay as a jewel on the crown of my head until my enlightenment, I prostrate devoted with body, speech, and mind. I make every offering, both actual and mentally transformed. I confess all my sins and downfalls since beginningless time. I rejoice in all the virtues of ordinary and noble beings. Please turn the wheel of the Profound and Vast Doctrine! I dedicate my own and others virtues to the Great Enlightenment.

RECITATION OF THE MANTRA

In my Guru's heart, the concentration-being TAM. Round the edge of a moon disk, the ten-syllable mantra surrounds it. (Recite as much as possible)
OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SVAHA
RECEIVING THE FOUR EMPOWERMENTS

By virtue of the request I have made with powerful longing, from the Guru's body, speech and mind centers, rays of light, white, red and blue, dissolve into my own three chakras. They purify all negativities, and I attain the vase, secret and wisdom empowerments.

Again, from the OM AH HUM SVA and HA, light of various colours radiates and dissolves into my own five chakras. I attain the four empowerments and the ability to achieve the Four Kayas is implanted.
